When we give up
when we lose faith in ourselves,
When we lose our integrity,
When we stop caring for who we are,
It becomes easy
not to eat, not to get dressed,
To fall into self-neglect.
When we no longer speak,
When we remain silent about our inner feelings,
When we stop making the effort to say hello,
When we start believing that no one cares.
When we have lost the belief that “Nothing is Impossible,”
When we forget the reality that we have a purpose here,
When we say, “I can’t do this,”
When we turn our backs on ourselves and who we truly are…
So when will you reflect
and find your purpose?
This is no joke.
Your life matters.
First, you must recognise it.
Know that there is true meaning in life,
And let no one stop you from living your best life
With no regrets.
For regrets give a false sense of security;
We digest them to fit our purpose.
But time matters
And looking back can only stop us from moving forward.
