Arts and Crafts Hub

Monday 23rd September

Recap

On a chilly and rainy day, there’s nothing better than getting creative indoors, and that’s exactly what our Arts and Crafts Hub offered with Stone Art this week! Loretta led an engaging and fun workshop where participants were encouraged to tap into their creative side using simple materials found right at home — stones!

Host: Loretta

Activity Overview:

  • Stone Art is a fantastic activity for both adults and children, making it perfect for family bonding on a cold, wet day. All you need is a stone, your imagination, and some acrylic paint to get started.

  • Acrylic paint was the preferred medium for the day as it’s easy to work with, dries quickly, and produces vibrant, long-lasting designs.

What You Can Create: Participants were guided by Loretta to design beautiful patterns on their stones, which could later be turned into meaningful keepsakes or practical items like paperweights. It’s a simple yet therapeutic way to transform an everyday object into a piece of art.
