Hurricane Melissa Disaster Relief Appeal
In Partnership with Miracle Church of God in Christ
Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica on 28 October 2025, becoming the strongest storm ever recorded to make landfall on the island. With Category 5 winds reaching 185 mph, communities across Jamaica suffered catastrophic destruction — homes torn apart, power and communication lost, and thousands of families displaced overnight.
According to early estimates, the storm caused damage equal to around 30% of Jamaica’s GDP, marking one of the most severe natural disasters in the nation’s history. Many local churches, community groups and emergency services are working tirelessly to provide food, shelter and urgent essentials to those affected.
In response, Bramingham Community Hub is supporting the Hurricane Melissa Disaster Relief Initiative led by Miracle Church of God in Christ, Bedford.
Your kindness, generosity and willingness to stand with Jamaica during this critical time will directly help families rebuild their lives.
